Young adults ages 18 – 30’s are invited to register for 16th Annual Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Young Adult Winter Retreat in Lake Tahoe, January 13-16, 2023. The theme for this year’s retreat is “The Glory of God is a Human Being Fully Alive”, with guest speaker Dr. Bethany Geleris, DNP. The Divine services during the retreat will be led by Rev. Father Nicholas Metrakos, Assistant Priest from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in San Francisco, CA. Located on a private retreat center on the shore of Lake Tahoe with spectacular views, the weekend will include incredible food and awesome accommodations! Nurse Practitioner

Bethany Geleris is a Nurse Practitioner in San Francisco who has completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from UCSF. Her doctorate marries her passion for people and for happiness research in launching a mentor training program for advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, and certified nurse anesthetists). Her professional mentorship work is an effort to show Christ's love through relationships. In her free time, you can find Bethany climbing mountains, playing fetch with her dog, trying tasting menus in SF, or participating in church activities.
