It has been proclaimed by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that Sunday, October 17, 2021 will be annual observance of Leadership 100 Sunday. Since the inception of the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Endowment Fund in 1984, over $65 million in grants have been distributed in support of the ongoing development of our National Ministries. This exceptional generosity has also had a significant and positive impact directly on our Metropolis, including funding that has supported our Family Wellness Ministry, Summer Camp, and the Young Adult Conference.

On this day we also honor Archbishop Iakovos, of blessed memory, who had the vision and foresight to create this program for the growth and development of our Holy Orthodox faith. It was through his faith and the courage of others that Leadership 100 was developed and has been cultivated to be a leading source of unprecedented support for our Archdiocese.

Please share the attached Encyclical from His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros with your faithful so they, too, may celebrate the beautiful witness of Leadership 100 and its commitment to growing our faith and ministries.
