The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco is pleased to announce that four distinguished stewards were invested as Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate The investiture service was held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York, presided by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, along with His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey.

A total of 39 Archons were selected for the Class of 2023, with four of the new candidates being from the Metropolis of San Francisco.
- Spiro Kailas, Archon Aktouarios, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA (Real Estate Corporate Executive)
- Vasilios G. Marutsos, Archon Depotatos, Redondo Beach, CA (Business Insurance Consultant)
- Chris G. Pallis, Archon Laosynaktis, Seattle, WA (Real Estate Developer)
- George P. Psefteas, Archon Skevophylax, Castro Valley, CA (Senior Executive, Chevron Corporation)
“These four individuals have demonstrated exceptional dedication to serving the Church. As Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, they will have the opportunity to expand their support of the Mother Church and protect the future of faith,” stated His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco. “This is a great honor for these men, and I look forward to working with them as they set forth on their new responsibilities as Archons.”
