Travel the World With IOCC No passport Needed!

Experience an international adventure without leaving the Bay area!  Passport To Hope, hosted by the IOCC Metropolitan Committee of Northern California, will transport you to an evening filled with the tastes and traditions of some of the world’s most fascinating cultures—Greece, Ethiopia, the Middle East and North America’s own Cajun country—and introduce you to the life-changing humanitarian work of IOCC in those regions.

Radio and TV host, Kennedy, will serve as emcee for the 21st Annual Remembering Home Banquet: An Evening of Faith, Culture, and Culinary Delights, on Sunday November 10, 2013, at Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, 1110 Highland Drive, Novato, California.  Your journey begins at 5:00 p.m. with a welcome reception and silent auction featuring must-have items including an iPad Mini, Kindle Paperwhite, a one-night stay a luxury hotel in San Diego, and much more!  The adventure continues at 6:30 p.m. as you dine on cuisines from around the globe while enjoying the entertaining rhythms of Cajun music and dancing from the Zydeco band and dancers.

Your travel guide for the evening, IOCC Gift Officer, Nick Kasemeotes, will lead you on a virtual tour through the countries where IOCC is putting your faith in action to uplift vulnerable families and communities around the globe towards a path of hope and self-reliance.

Event tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at www.iocc.org/rememberinghome. For more information about the evening, please call 415-883-1998 or email ncchurch@pacbell.net.  Please join us and consider supporting IOCC by encouraging your friends and family to attend!
