The Saint Anna Philoptochos Society in Roseville, California is hosting a special evening to benefit the rebuilding of the Saint Nicholas National Shrine at the World Trade Center. This Taverna Night will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. and will include a delicious array of Greek food, dancing, music and fellowship.
A special presentation will be offered by Jerry Dimitriou, Executive Director of Administration for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, who will provide an update on the progress of this important project which not only reflects our faith, traditions, and values, but will be a lasting symbol of peace and unity for all who visit the only house of worship at Ground Zero.
Tickets are available for advance purchase , $30 for adults, $15 for children, through this Friday, September 25 by contacting the Saint Anna church office at 916-772-9372 or secretary@saintanna.org. The event will be held at Saint Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 Stone Canyon Drive, Roseville, CA 95661.
