“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” –Acts1:8

"Let your light shine for you shall be My witnesses" is the theme for the 2023 Missions and Evangelism Conference presented by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Missions and Evangelism Ministry.

The Conference will be held at Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Dunlap, CA and will begin on Tuesday, June 6 with registration at Noon, lunch at 2:00 p.m. and the Welcome and Keynote at 3:00 p.m. The conference will conclude on Thursday, June 8 at Noon, with sack lunches being provided for all participants prior to departure.

The featured speaker for this conference will be Rev. Father Luke Veronis, who has been involved with the Orthodox church’s missionary movement since 1987 and brings a valuable perspective on missions and evangelism as an effort to grow our faith.

All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the book “Spread the Word: Reclaiming the Apostolic Tradition of Evangelism” by Rev. Father Michael Keiser. You will receive the book in advance of the conference and are asked to read it prior to your arrival to maximize your participation as we discuss the important work of Missions and Evangelism in the Orthodox Church.

Register today! Space is limited. $200 for accommodations, meals and your personal copy of the “Spread the Word” book; or $150 for meals and a copy of the book, but no accommodations at Saint Nicholas Ranch.

Join with others who are passionate about spreading the Orthodox faith, share resources and ideas, and collaborate on ways that we, as individuals and parishes, can Spread the Word and inspire and engage our parishioners to look beyond the walls of our communities, and to reach out and bring in people who are searching to know the love, peace and grace from Jesus Christ.
