The Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival Ministry is dedicated, through Orthodox Christian Fellowship and committed leadership, to promoting, encouraging and perpetuating the Orthodox faith, Greek heritage and culture among individuals, families and communities by expressing it through folk dance, folk art, music and language.

At FDF we take pride in creating an overall experience for our attendees, including Workshops Kids Events, Glendia and the Sunday Awards Banquet.

Diakonia

Diakonia is a service or ministry for Christ and His Church, and that is exactly what the dedicated parishioners within our Metropolis undertake through Diakonia projects led by FDF dancers and singers. FDF begins with a full-scale service project in partnership with the Metropolis Philoptochos. Parish dance and choral groups also undertake community service projects to provide for those in need in their local areas. This is a beautiful demonstration of putting the Gospel into action through by helping others and sharing God’s love!
