Virtually every parish in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco has some form of Christian Education program. At the Metropolis level, our goal is to provide continuing opportunities for the training and development of volunteer catechetical staff who teach both children and adults. In addition, we work in concert with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s Department of Religious Education, to provide guidance and materials which support the Youth Education (Sunday School) curriculum.
Supporting our efforts to promote and encourage life-long Adult Education, we utilize a variety of educational methodologies to meet the needs of our Metropolis learning community which is distributed over the seven Western states, including:

Adult Christian Education
Administration of a Sunday Church School program brings joys and challenges. If you are a Church School Director in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, please join us on our monthly live Zoom meeting on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 pm.
