The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Orthodox Parish Leadership (OPL) Ministry continues this year’s special webinar series. Our next webinar will focus on the topics of “5P” Ministry Effectiveness and Welcome Teams. We will discuss how to strengthen your parish ministries using the “5P” approach to assess their effectiveness using five key criteria. We will also talk about the importance of equipping your parish to welcome and engage with inquirers and guests.

Guest Presenters
Peter Panagis
Peter Panagis leads OPL’s “5P” Ministry Effectiveness offering and is currently leading the Planning and Development Ministry at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Prescott, Arizona. Peter has served in several volunteer capacities over the years and is currently focused on assisting the Parish Council in identifying the highest priority projects within the church, and then implementing processes to ensure those projects are effectively delivered.
George Ekizian
George Ekizian leads OPL’s Welcome Teams offering and has been a member of the St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine Parish Council for 20 years and served as President for three years during COVID. He is also a member of the St. Paul’s Foundation and, with his wife Karen, co-chairs the Parishioner Engagement Team (PET), whose goal is to create and maintain an inclusive and positive parish environment that fosters increased participation and parish unity.
