The Church school teacher training series is a way to equip our teachers with basic strategies for creating and teaching weekly lessons to our children. As well, the training seminars provide a way to recruit and prepare future teachers and leaders for youth ministry. Anyone interested in teaching church school in the future is invited to participate along with our current church school teachers. The second session will build upon the first session as an example of how to develop continuity and reinforce learning from one Sunday to the next. The second session will be held Saturday, February 25, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 2:00PM in the Fireside Room at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church. We will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy for the first psychosabbato of Great Lent at 9:00AM. The teacher training seminar will immediately follow the Divine Liturgy in the Fireside Room. A lite lunch will be provided.
